We celebrated World Book Day on Monday, April 24. I had students write short book reviews in advance and display them on the library door. The book reviews are short- very short! Six-English-words-short and eight-Chinese-characters-short, or emoji-length only! Here are the directions:
In English: Write a review for a book you've read (in this library) using six words only - no more and no less. In Chinese: Write a review for a book you've read (in this library) using eight characters only - no more and no less. For K-1/picture book reviews: How does a book make you feel? 😫😀🤣😕😍😤😨 Rules: 1. Can be a book in any language 2. Has to be in this library 3. You must have read it 4. Has to be exactly 6 words (for English reviews) or 8 characters (for Chinese reviews) Can you tell which picture book cover inspired this door decoration?
